It’s September, Spring has arrived and so has the 2011 Perth Fashion Festival! The festival will run from the 21-27 September and feature emerging and established WA designers displaying their latest Spring/Summer collections. Last year the event attracted 44,000 people, eager to get a glimpse of the latest trends in fashion.

The main venue for the festival this year will be Hackett Hall, at the Western Australian Museum. Fossilised dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures will have to make way for models strutting their stuff down the catwalk.

The festival includes ticketed and free-to-public events held across various venues in Perth including the Western Australian Museum, Perth GPO Building and the Northbridge Cultural Centre. Fashion parades, seminars, workshops, and vintage stalls will sweep the city during the week-long festival. Special guest celebrity Scary Spice - Melanie Brown, will also be a star attraction of the festival.

Western Australian Designers featuring their collections at the festival include; Elissa Coleman, Daniella Caputi, Fenella Peacock, Empire Rose, Liz Davenport, Wheels & Dollbaby, One Fell Swoop and many more.
